Gmod 10 came out today.
Alot of people have been waiting a long time for this.
Finally this game has broken it's way into the main stream as
it is now a part of Valve's regular line up. THis game is
basically where you get to do what ever you want with what ever you
want, how ever you want. It's a "sandbox" game. You
get to spawn any of over a thousand (limitless) props, weld them
together, tie them with ropes, attach baloons, or a ton of other
things. So you can build contraptions like catapult's, or
cannons, or working combustable engines, or forts for playing
multiplayer fort wars. This game is basically the end-all, do
any thing game. It's tight. As you can see I am
excited. So go to www.garrysmod.com and check it out.
Then buy it and we'll build a huge cabbage powered robot
together.
Again
it has been a very long time since I have been able to update the site.
Mostly due to the fact that I know not many people visit
here, but also because of a lack of news. Well today that all
changes. The bigest thing in years has happened today.
I am not exagerating how excited I am about this.... Rice
Krispies Treats Cereal is back! I
am super hyped about this. This used to be my all time
favorite cereal when I was like 11 years old. Then one day it
was gone. I have wanted for this day to come for so long and
here it is. I auctually have a box in my cabinet and it's
TIGHT! Anyway, I'll be willing to be that nobody else is this
excited about it so I'll shut up already.
In
other news, my brother has been working on his Fiberglass Customs.
He is making a door panel right now for his volkswagon Bug,
it fits a 6x9 speaker. It's really the first one he has done
and it's looking really really good so far. The picture below is not a
finished product but it's getting close and the concept can clearly be
seen. If anyone needs a custom speaker box for their trunk or
anything, hit me up, my brother will make it look awsome.
It's
been quite a while since I have made an entry here. I have
been
busy as hell, plus I am still the only one who ever sees this blog so
it's not like it matters anyway. Last week I finally sold the
Xbox. It sold on Ebay for $500, but the jerk didn't pay so I
had
to offer it to the next buyer for $450. I decided to buy a
digital video camera with the money and so I did. It came via
Fed-Ex today and it is TIGHT! I haven't had much time to
tinker
with it since the battery still needs to charge, but from what I have
been able to do with it, I am already impressed. It's gonna
take
some getting used to and I still don't even know how to get the videos
on to the PC yet, but soon enough. Here are a couple of
pictures
of my new toy. Maybe tonight I'll try to upload some video.
Today I went to over to
Mom and Dad's to wash the car and clean up some of the welds I did in
class the other night. Finally that dirty car is clean and
smells half way decent inside. I used a wire brush drill bit
to clean some of the oxidation off of this plate I have below.
It looked dirty and grimy before, but now it shines.
I am feeling pretty good about these beads, especially since
we still have like 3 months left in the class. I ought to be
able to step it up here in the next three months and feel pretty
competent in my welding abilities. I hope so any way.
Well I think I'll try to work on the games section of the
site now....
Well
Today was one hell
of a day. A Bomb got dropped on us at
work. Basically
we were
told that in 4-6
months we were gonna be laid off.
Talk about things that suck. I guess we all knew
that it
was coming,
but they wait till so soon to tell us. I guess I
better find something to do. If anyone, who
isn't
coming to
this
site anyway, needs somebody to design POS web pages like this for them,
or if anyone needs a full time in-experienced welder, I'm your man!
Well
I haven't posted on here in more than a week so I thought now would be
a good time to post, even though I am still the only visitor to this
site. I feel a lot more comfortable in my HTML skills now
then I
ever did before. Since my last post I have completely redone
this
site, although it looks the same, and have learned how to use slices to
make my layouts easier.
I
am trying to sell my Xbox 360 on ebay currently. I am
hopefully going to be able to get a digital video camera and spelling lessons
with the money. Click HERE
to see the Auction.
We
had another welding class tonight. Compared to
last Tuesday
things went much much better today. Big Al said I was ready
to
move on to full time arc welding, so finally I'll be able to
get
better at what I initially intended to do. Here is a picture
of
some vertical beads that I ran tonight. There is one spot
where I
made it look like crap, but overall it's pretty good.
Sick as a dog today.
I have had a runny nose, and heavy eyes all day.
It's a lot nicer to be working inside with a cold then to be
out in the heat though. It's almost time for class
now...welding tonight. I will try my best not to lay welds
that look like beaver turds tonight but I really expect to be
frustrated. Oh well, I guess it'll all come with time.
On a brighter note, Sarah has told me that this web site
looks plain and boring. So, not only am I a crap welder, but
I also don't know how to make web sites. Maybe my problem is
I am a guy who tries to weld and make web sites. It's almost
like a lumber-jack who does ballet. Either way, I'm having
fun so who cares?
Alright,
I guess this is my first real attempt at a website. I really
don't
have a reason, or any content to put on here, so
just the fact that you
are looking at this right now is pretty sweet. I have placed
a few
links above to things
that might
help you, either with the use of your
computer or with the use of a sack of potatoes. Either way, I hope that
this site can offer something, anything....and if it doesn't, well then
that will be all right too.
Ok
Here I go I am going to try to test out the text wrap, I was having a
tough time setting up the frames for this page, but after a lot of
photoshop, and a lot of editing I think I may have gotten it.
Oh yeah here is
a picture of me,
PAPABIGFACE. Yeah it took me 23 years to grow
that mustache, but it's finally perfect. It matches the hair
on
my head exactly.
